The Tattoo Temple strives for your piercing to be the easiest and most enjoyable experience possible.

To help us ensure your piercing experience is fantastic please read the information below.

 

  • All of our piercings are performed with sterile, disposable implements and highly sanitized, autoclaved surgical and stainless steel tools.

  • We use only the highest quality, new, sterile jewelry when performing piercings. Initial jewelry is surgical steel (Titanium available upon special request and ~2-3 week advance scheduling). Please let your piercer know if you are allergic to metals.

  • Make sure you are well hydrated and have eaten within four hours of your piercing.

    Do not take anything that will thin your blood unless medically necessary. Such as aspirin, ibuprofen, blood thinners, etc. If you are taking any please inform your piercer.

    Please notify your piercer of any relevant allergies or any medical conditions that may affect your ability to heal or the piercing experience itself (example: conditions that may cause fainting)

    Bring a government issued photo ID that states your birthdate (Under 18 see below)

 

We CAN’T Pierce You If…

  • Your body anatomy doesn’t accommodate the particular piercing

  • You are intoxicated from drugs or alcohol

  • You are pregnant or nursing

  • You don't have proper identification (Under 18 see below)

ALL minors MUST have a parent/legal guardian present at the time if piercing. Minor AND guardian must both show a form of government/state issued ID. If you do not have proper identification, we will NOT be able to pierce you.

 

Identification for parent/legal guardian.

Examples; Driver's License, State-issued ID, Military Identification Card, Passport or Passport Card.

Identification for minor.

Examples; Driver's License, State-issued ID, School ID*, Passport or Passport Card, Birth Certificate**.

*School ID must have First & Last name and date of birth.

**Birth Certificate. Consenting parent must be on Birth Certificate if this form of identification is used.

Piercing Age Minimums

A minor's age/maturity may factor into whether or not we will perform a particular piercing. The minor's bodily anatomy will be taken into account. In some cases, it’s best to wait until a minor has grown more before getting some piercings, to ensure it is properly placed, won’t migrate, reduce rejection chances, etc...

The below ages are our general guidelines, subject to change at piercer's discretion.

  • Earlobe: Approx. 5 years old

  • Nose, Navel, & Eyebrow: Approx. 14 years old

  • Most other piercings: Approx. 17 years old

  • RFID/NFC/LED microchip: 18+ years old

  • Biomagnet: 18+ years old

  • Genital & Nipple: 18+ years old - ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS
